I've said it before, but Beast is my favorite comic book character, and I will definitely buy any and all forms of him in Legends form in a heartbeat. I recently received by per-order for the vintage wave Grey Beast, and man I've had fun posing him around. As soon as I got him, I started reading the Amazing Adventures #11 - #17 comics that featured the first appearance of Beast with fur. In issue #11, I found a panel that I wanted to recreate in ACBA format.
I created the cutouts in Photoshop to mimic the quotes in the comic panel, and then I set everything up using my warehouse diorama. I used some random lab equipment from my collection to mimic the scene, and used a generic suited body figure for the guy getting thrown. For the impact, I used the Tamashii Nations energy effect, and put a LumeCube behind it to light it up. The rest of the lighting was pretty standard with my LumeCube Panel Minis and TaoTronics desk lamps. Overall, I am happy with the end result of this shot, and it's always fun to recreate an exact panel from a comic.
