Over the last few weeks, Sundays have become my day to take Pokemon shots, and this Sunday was no different. I realized I hadn't taken a stand alone shot with Bulbasaur so I decided to take one with him.
I wanted to setup a natural outdoor setting so I used my moss mat, artificial grass, and sky backdrop for this setup. I wanted the shot to look like Bulbasaur was on a river bank, so I used a piece of a blue grocery bag to simulate the water. With the right light and settings on the camera, the blue bag looks like a natural body of water. The lighting on this shot was fairly simple with two TaoTronics desk lamps pointing at the backdrop, and two LumeCube Panel Minis pointed at Bulbasaur. I went back and forth the the position of the lights pointing at Bulbasaur, but ultimately went with these angled down from above him.
Camera settings for this shot:
ISO - 100
fStop - 5.6
Shutter Speed - 1/4
Picture Control - Landscape
White Balance - Auto
